Report: Public–Private Partnerships in Urbanization in the People’s Republic of China


In a workshop held in Beijing in August 2013, some 200 participants from the PRC Central Government, 35 local governments, the finance sector, universities and research centers, and development partners discussed good-practice approaches to Public–Private Partnerships (PPPs) in the PRC. The workshop was organized by the Ministry of Finance, the National Development and Reform Commission, ADB, and the PPP Research Committee, which is hosted by the Institute of Fiscal Sciences.
